Why we added OKNA

A high-performance vinyl window for homeowners who don’t need Andersen

Andersen is still what we lead with. But plenty of the homes we measure need a strong, low-maintenance window rather than a wood interior, and paying for wood you will not use makes no sense. OKNA fills that gap. Its frames are fusion welded at every corner, multi-chambered for insulation, and reinforced where the sashes lock.

We install three OKNA products, chosen because they cover the openings in most Pennsylvania homes: the Eco-Pro 600 Series double hung, the 700 Series casement and the Elegante 8800 patio door. Every estimate can price OKNA and Andersen side by side for the same openings.

One crank opens the whole sash to 90°, and a multi-point lock pulls it tight against the frame when it closes, which is why casements seal better than any sliding window. The usual pick above a kitchen sink or anywhere a sash is hard to reach.

Who makes OKNA windows?
OKNA Windows is a family-owned manufacturer that has been building vinyl windows and patio doors for more than 30 years. Its plant is at 400 Crossings Drive in Bristol, Pennsylvania, a short drive from our Fairless Hills office, so lead times and service stay local.
Which OKNA products does HomeTrust install?
Three: the Eco-Pro 600 Series double hung window, the 700 Series casement window and the Elegante 8800 sliding patio door. Between them they cover the openings in most Bucks and Montgomery County homes. For bay and bow windows, wood interiors or specialty shapes we quote Andersen at the same visit.
Is OKNA as good as Andersen?
They are different windows for different priorities. OKNA builds in vinyl, and its triple-pane packages reach a U-factor of 0.16, far better than a typical double-pane window. Andersen offers wood interiors, composite frames and dark exterior colors that vinyl cannot match. Many homeowners pick OKNA for the bedrooms and back of the house and Andersen where the look matters most; your estimator prices both side by side.
How much do OKNA windows cost?
OKNA does not publish prices and neither do we for this line, because the number depends on size, glass package, color and grids. Your free in-home estimate includes a written, all-in price for each opening, with Andersen alongside if you want to compare.
What warranty comes with OKNA windows?
OKNA’s lifetime limited warranty covers the vinyl frame and sash, the insulated glass seal and the hardware for as long as you own the home, and it transfers once if you sell. Factory paint and coastal hardware carry 10 years. Labor and reinstallation are not covered by OKNA. If something goes wrong, call HomeTrust and we handle the claim with OKNA.
Are OKNA windows ENERGY STAR rated?
They can be, depending on the glass. OKNA reports that the Eco-Pro 600, 700 casement and Elegante patio door were recognized as ENERGY STAR Most Efficient in 2025 with qualifying glass packages. Southeastern Pennsylvania falls in ENERGY STAR’s North-Central zone (U-factor 0.25 or lower) and the Poconos in the Northern zone (0.22 or lower), so the standard low-E package is not enough on its own; HeatSeal Deluxe or triple pane is. Every unit ships with an NFRC label, and your estimator shows which package qualifies for your address.
